Recent Meetings

In May, our Paso del Norte group had the honor of hosting Jessica Lovell, FWIT Association President and Senior VP at First National Bank Texas, for a heartfelt presentation titled “Breaking Barriers: A Journey of Resilience, Vulnerability, and Growth.” Jessica’s powerful message emphasized perseverance, vulnerability, and mutual support, resonating deeply with all attendees.
Audrey Zamora also shared an executive update on FWIT’s local and state-level efforts, encouraging members to consider joining the 2025–2026 board. We were also proud to officially welcome our newest member, Adriana Muñiz.  Congratulations and welcome to the group!

In June, we gathered for an overview of the Board and Chair positions available for the coming fiscal year. In addition, we pinned new members Jeanette Alvarado, Isaac Duran, and Myrna Ortiz. We are excited to welcome new members joining our group!

In July, members enjoyed a fun evening creating wood signs, savoring charcuterie, and pizza, and connecting with fellow powerhouse women. It was the perfect mix of creativity, networking, and community.  Grateful to everyone who joined us! Let’s continue to build our connections, support one another, and lead with purpose.
