Financial Women in Texas Llano Estacado Group is excited to welcome Calvin Davis, District Director of Lubbock-West Texas SBA, sharing a special message, "Equity and Parity in the World of Finance.”
Mr. Davis received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Langston University in Oklahoma and a Juris Doctorate Degree from Howard University School of Law in Washington, D.C. Calvin has served as Chief Legal Counsel for SBA's District Offices, as Special Assistant United States Attorney. He's served as a tax accountant with Washington, D.C. firms and Los Angeles, CA firms. He's received multiple awards and honors including the prestigious Community Champion of Diversity Award and the coveted, Gold Medal Award for Community Service, awarded by the Women in Communication. Calvin currently serves on many boards in the community, including SPAG, LEDA, 100 Black Men of West Texas, Lubbock Housing Finance Corp, and several others.
