FWIT Llano Estacado Group is very excited to kick off 2019 with a lunch program, featuring Sam Reedy with the Lubbock Police Department. Mr. Reedy has graciously agreed to come and speak to us about women’s safety and active shooter training.
Sam Reedy is a native of west Texas. He has worked in the TV industry, spent years working in Africa where he learned to speak Spanish, and now works in the community relations unit of the Lubbock Police Department where he has spent the last 20 years serving our city. He has previously served as a patrol officer where he responded to a multitude of emergency situations as a first responder, as a detective were he investigated almost every known type of crime, and finally, in police administration where he works to help the police department engage with the community and educate the public about crime prevention, emergency preparedness, and other public safety issues.
