Please join us for a special and inspiring message from Shelia Patterson Harris, Lubbock City Councilwoman District 2. Sheila will share her message "Serving Your Community".
Shelia is a Lubbock native and longtime resident of District 2 which she currently represents. She studied Radio, Television and Film at the University of North Texas and received a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorder from Texas Tech University. She is a retired Juvenile Probation Officer/Supervisor and continues to work with the Juvenile Justice Center. Shelia is active in the community by serving on a variety of boards for Lubbock Habitat for Humanity, Community youth Development, Lubbock Citizens United for Equity and Access, and others. She believes in bringing people together to create working relationship that empower and provide opportunities to address concerns and improve every neighborhood.
